Marek's has witnessed the following - without any apt proxy involved.
[1] Asking you anyhow, since you might have an idea.
W: Failed to fetch
https://deb.whonix.org/dists/jessie-proposed-updates/main/binary-amd64/Packages
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old
ones used instead.
Using 'deb https://deb.whonix.org jessie-proposed-updates main' in a
Qubes Debien jessie based VM works for me. (Both http / https.)
But in a Debian chroot, apt-get is having issues. Do you have any idea
what's going on?
